We are delighted to announce the inaugural Ashdown Forest Open Studios, launching as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Winnie the Pooh. Artists and makers will open their studios across Ashdown Forest and its surrounding towns, villages and hamlets on 4th, 5th and 6th September 2026, with a Gala Evening at The Forest Centre on Friday 4th September.

This new event celebrates creativity, community and connection. In recent years, many people have found comfort and inspiration through making—whether painting, pottery, textiles, glass or other creative crafts. Open Studios offers a joyful opportunity to share this work, exchange ideas and perhaps inspire others to have a go themselves.

We would love your support in promoting local artists and makers. In return, we can offer advertising in our printed guide and on our website, highlight your location on the trail map, and invite you to attend our Gala Evening. The event is proudly run in association with Ashdown Forest Centre and The Ashdown Forest Foundation (TAFF).
