Paintings
Sheri Gee is a British fine artist, specialising in oil painting, based in West Sussex. With a degree in Illustration, Gee has developed her fine art practice over twenty years, through private focus, short courses and life drawing, whilst working part-time and raising a family.
Her work has a combined focus on figurative and landscape painting, rural and urban. Enjoying an impressionistic style, she uses loose brushwork to explore the world around her, creating work en plein air and in the studio.
Her work has been selected for The Sussex Contemporary Open, Jackson’s Art, and the Society of Women Artists. Gee was a finalist in the 2018 Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize (now Women in Art). One of Gee’s portraits was included in the book Portraits for NHS Heroes (Bloomsbury 2020). Gee is a Wildcard contestant in the UK's Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year, airing early 2026.
