Jan Beesley is an East Sussex photographer who embraces both traditional

and more experimental photographic techniques.

 

Inspired by the local landscape, Jan’s work leans towards the abstract, using the camera as a brush to create images which reflect her vision and imagination. Jan sometimes hand-finishes pieces with other media such as gold and silver leaf, as well as creating books combining her poems, writings, and images.

 

Jan regularly exhibits her work locally in both Kent and Sussex and has also exhibited in London and New York.
