I create intuitive and meaningful hand embroidery art and brooches, which are highly textured and colourful. I use the art of hand stitching to tell a narrative of nature, symbolism, design and colour. With a background in fine art I work from my drawings and designs and blend colours and textures to create great detail, often using single strands of thread. Each piece I create is unique. I use sustainably sourced threads and frames where I can and love to give old threads a new life in my work.
