I grew up near to Ashdown Forest, married, work and now paint here. It is a

special place for me and I love to paint here. My aim is to capture the forest in a moment in time, like a visual diary. I paint en plein air, which means out on location, usually in one session. This allows me to record the colours, conditions, atmosphere and the essence of the landscape.
