I've been a traditional fiction illustrator for Egmont Scandinavian magazines for many years. Recently, with semi-retirement, my painting has taken a different direction and I'm now enjoying exploring landscapes and woodscapes in my local Sussex area with oil and acrylic canvas paintings. My focus in landscape is colour, light, sky and realism and in woodscape it is in exageration of colour, impressionism and texture. I consider myself to be very fortunate to live within easy access of so much natural beauty; endless scope for a painter like me.
