Coach House Ceramics

I discovered the joy of clay during lockdown and gradually became obsessed with what it could do. Once I retired from my business running a dance school, I set up my own studio in our coach house near Lewes. Pots are thrown or coiled in stoneware and porcelain, with the emphasis on decoration, informed by my work as a dance teacher. I love spontaneous mark making and exploring energy and movement, using a mostly blue, green and white palette inspired by the sea where I grew up.
