Textile Artist
I learned to knit from my mum and to crochet from a neighbour while growing up in Scotland. Those early lessons have stayed with me, shaping a practice that’s both practical and personal.
Over time, I’ve built a collection of more than 200 patterns for all ages. When I return to a pattern, I tend to make it my own—adjusting stitches, refining details, or reworking sections so it better suits how I like to work and how I want the finished piece to feel.
I enjoy working with a wide range of yarns, from 4-ply to super chunky, and I’m drawn to different fibres depending on the project—cotton, acrylic, wool, and blends. For me, it’s about choosing what works best in the moment and letting the materials help shape the outcome.
