Beth Chaplin
Rose Honey Design
Inspired by nature and history, Rose Honey jewellery explores the beauty of the natural world and its deep connections with humanity and ancient making techniques.
Beth’s designs often begin with objects collected on journeys. Casting these forms in recycled silver captures their intricate patterns, textures and organic shapes — from sycamore leaves gathered on country walks, to prehistoric arrowheads from a memorable journey through the Sahara Desert.
Passionate about preserving specialist craft traditions such as Lost Wax casting, while continually learning new techniques.
Beth’s collections are rooted in story. Growing up in Lewes, surrounded by willow — her mother a basketmaker. The rhythm of planting, growing and harvesting shaped her childhood; willow was even softened in the family bath. This early influence lives on in the Willow Collection, where each piece is hand- cast from willow gathered in spring. The designs are guided by the material’s natural twists and grain, resulting in elegant hoop earrings, rings and twisted bracelets.
